Owner of Pavones Local Malcolm Miles is a full time resident of Pavones in Costa Rica; he settled in this small coastal town back in 1976, raised a family and has been an integral part of the community over the past 36 years. As the area became more popular and locals were looking to sell properties, Malcolm worked to ensure that the integrity of transactions protected both seller and buyer; he became involved in Pavone’s Real Estate before hanging his shingle as a realtor.
As time passed, Malcolm’s reputation preceded him as an honest and ethical man. Land owners, property owners, buyers and prospective buyers, sought his extensive knowledge of the area. He had become, almost by default, one of the first realtors in the Pavones and surrounding areas of Costa Rica’s southern zone.
Integrity & Priority
Malcolm’s quiet manner and integrity is directly in line with how he approaches and lives his life in both work and play. Family is first with this wiry, fit husband-father-surfer. He is proudest of his oldest daughter, Vela, born in Costa Rica, and currently attending University. His youngest daughter, Luna, has taken to the water like a mermaid, and her Mom, Lisa, a vivacious, fun transplant from Germany rounds out a loving family unit as Malcolm’s wife. It is this aspect of his life that gives Malcolm his greatest pleasure.
Well respected and beloved in this community, Malcolm feels no pressure to compete with younger, more well-financed realtors selling real estate in the area. He doesn’t drive a fancy new car and is without a realtor’s shtick. He is all about showing you properties in Pavones or surrounding areas (or showing your property), providing real facts and working diligently to ensure all aspects of a transaction go legally and as smoothly as possible.
